Based on the Marvel characters Sam Wilson (Falcon) and Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier), the limited television series The Falcon and Winter Soldier picks up six months after Sam was handed the mantle of Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame.
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise their roles as Sam and Bucky. The Falcon and Winter Soldier shares continuity with films in the Marvel franchise and will run for six episodes. Part of Phase Four of the MCU, the show is joined by other Marvel television series including WandaVision, Loki, and Ms. Marvel, among others.
